The vineyard

Our family business in the eastern Weinviertel in Austria combines tradition and innovation to create authentic wines of the highest quality. On 15 hectares in and around Herrnbaumgarten, we utilise the Pannonian climate and the varied soils – loess, loam, sand and black earth – to produce wines with freshness, elegance and depth.

We offer a wide selection: from Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Gelber Muskateller, Gemischter Satz, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc to Traminer Beerenauslese, Rosé, Zweigelt, Blauburger and Merlot. Our Ries-ecco also provides sparkling enjoyment.

Our wine style focusses on freshness, fruitiness and a harmonious balance. Every bottle is an expression of our passion and our pursuit of quality.

Quality right from the start – in harmony with nature

At our winery, quality work begins in winter with the pruning of the vines. We lay the foundation for our superior wine quality with targeted short pruning. Healthy vines and vital foliage are very important to us, which is why we rely on plant protection that is gentle on beneficial organisms. We also work the soil with sensitivity and at the right time – always in balance with nature.

In summer, we complete our quality work by thinning out the grapes. In this way, we ensure that we get the best out of the grapes – to the delight of all wine lovers.
